SUNDAY  25th Eucharist 10am SECOND SUNDAY OF LENT

Ash Wednesday traditionally marks the beginning of the season of Lent - which in the church year is an opportunity to do a bit of self examination, see where we need to amend things , and have a go at doing just that. Our aim is to be ready for the resurrection on Easter Day in fit spiritual shape, ready to celebrate the momentous event of Christ being alive in our lives having travelled the way of the cross with him, and caught a glimpse of the suffering he endured for us.

We have a Lent group after the service on a Sunday, and will be holding a film night to explore the themes in I, Daniel Blake, We'll be using our beautiful stations of the cross to travel the journey in Jerusalem to Golgotha.

Keep an eye on our upcoming events, but put Sunday March 18th in your diary. It's Passion Sunday, and we will be singing Evensong at 5pm with the East London Evensong Choir.

It'll be a real treat.

Want to explore a bit more?  Then catch me as I wander around Hackney Wick, or come on a Sunday Morning.  No special anything needed. Come as you are.

Rev'd Sue Makin, Vicar.

We have halls, and exhibition/performance space for hire..clean, warm and with internet access.
