Saturday24 125th Dedication festival Eucharist 3pm

Over this last month, we have heard and seen tragic events, both here and abroad. This week, if you are inclined to pray, hold before God all those whose lives have been radically changed by injury or bereavement, by witnessing trauma. Let's remember also all those who have the political and practical power to help.

We are now in the Trinity season, this Sunday is Trinity 2. It's the time in the church year where after all the celebrating of Eastertide and Pentecost we settle down to live out the love that we have been given, until we get to Advent, at the beginning of December.

Our Parish Eucharist with childrens activities is at 10am, followed by refreshments.

Confirmation classes. Our next session is 28th  June , 5pm at the Vicarage. It's never too late, so come along if you are interested to find out what it involves. There is a lower age limit, but no upper one! If you're curious, coming to a session doesn't commit you- it's important to discern what's right as you go along

Coming up .........NO weeks to go! it's this weekend!

Come and help us celebrate our 125th year!

We have a festive weekend planned, starting with a celebratory Eucharist followed by tea on the lawn. We are delighted to welcome our Guest Preacher, the Rev'd Canon John Oates, founder of the 59 club.

3pm on Saturday 24th June.

We carry on celebrating as we welcome the renowned organist David Goode on 27th June at 7.30pm, who is giving a concert in aid of St Mary's in partnership with Victor Matthews and our own organist, Michael Whytock. There will be pieces by Bach, Mendelssohn  and Elgar, among others.

Tickets will be £5 min on the door, to include refreshments

Our acoustics are fantastic, the musician excellent. What's not to like? If you have never been to a concert here before, then this is a good one to start with.
